Value-Added Research Often, the goals of large-scale research projects include not only science and technology development but research on the frontier between the “hard” and the “social sciences”: technology forecasting, economic and social impact analysis, concept evaluation, analysis of data on user behavior and satisfaction, business and exploitation planning and so forth.
